With so many different qualities of marijuana how do you know what makes a good strain?

There are many different factors that make strains different.

• Effect
• Potency
• Aroma/Flavor
• Appearance
• Yield
• Plant height

It is a lot easier deciding whether a strain is bad for its desired purpose. For instance, a hemp strain bred for creating rope or seed will not be a good choice for marijuanas medicinal effect.

Most strains arent bad, but it all depends on your use for the selected strain. An inspirational Haze wouldnt be a good strain choice for sleeping, a nice Afghani would be a much better choice.

Usually in most peoples mind what makes a good strain is its potency. A big problem with this is the fact that the person growing the strain has much more effect on the potency than the strain itself. In a batch of seeds from the same strain some of the seeds will produce higher quality plants than other seeds. If a lower genetic plant is selected out of the batch of seeds a lower quality bud will be produced. If a better genetic seed is selected from the batch of seeds a better bud will result. The resulting buds from the selected seeds will still both be the same strain, but one will be a higher quality than the other.

So strains are very important, but the skill of the grower is even more important. It is up to the grower to let the strain express itself in its best form. Most strains are good, however not so good growers have a way of turning the best strain in to dirt weed.

I figured out an excellent way to remove kief from marijuana bud and shake.
What you need

1. Electric Coffee Grinder
2. Marijuana Buds/Shake
3. Smooth Flat Surface

This new technique is SIMPLE.

All you need to do is grind up  your herbals in an electric coffee grinder and all the kief will fly up and stick to the top while the buds stay down. You can then tap all the kief out on a solid surface.

Try it out
